Matabonite is a rural village whose inhabitants are deprived of food, potable water, and access to school. Shine your light on Haiti is a grassroots movement within a non-profit organization that ensures that hundreds of children in the Village of Matabonite, Haiti, can access educational resources to improve their future.

The Mission is to facilitate a safe, nurturing learning environment by providing meals, creating teaching and ancillary jobs, and acquiring didactic materials for elementary levels. This community believes that everyone can make a difference, just like the African proverb, “it takes a village to raise a child.”

I am Andre Cadiner, initiator of the movement that created the organization Back to Life Ministries of Haiti. In 2008, this area was devoid of everything. This is when I decided to help with food and clothes. Over the subsequent years, I incorporated the assistance of some American friends, and Rita Moon, International Entrepreneur.

In addition, over the past seven years, Alin Lucien, our mission’s co-worker and collaborator, joined us. We have been fully dedicated and diligently supporting impoverished families from a small, vulnerable community called Matabonite, just outside Pignon, Haiti. We specifically concentrated our efforts on helping the suffering children by establishing an elementary school to better their future.

We are happy to be involved in such a divine calling.
